Like Show 1 Like 1 Actions Deepak Gupta Maxime Klauth on Aug 16, 2016 8:27 AM Mark Correct Correct Answer Thanks for pointing that missing n. Check the immediate window in the macro itself OR replace Debug.Print with Msgbox and you would get the pop up box with the result. If this is possible I would be amazed Like Show 1 Like 1 Actions Deepak Gupta Maxime Klauth on Aug 16, 2016 12:48 PM Mark Correct Correct Answer You could actually add that as a note and link to a property Like Show 1 Like 1 Actions Maxime Klauth Maxime Klauth on Aug 16, 2016 1:41 PM Mark Correct Correct Answer Okay I understand how, now I just need to be able to have the immediate window showing the results like in your photo, its a nice feeling to now the goal isnt far. I found hów to have thé immediate window wórking, it was thé last line msgbóx. I now wiIl try to Iink this to á property Could aIl this be possibIe with isolating thé Dow as á property customer l think you havé to pIay with InStrRev(swModeI.GetPathName, ) - 1, Im right just to understand, by doing -1 you are desactivting the (this do not absolutely needs a reply ) Thank you very much for your help, first I thinked this post was to old, and the question maybe to difficult, but you solve it in one day. Like Show 1 Like 1 Actions Maxime Klauth Deepak Gupta on Aug 16, 2016 3:56 PM Mark Correct Correct Answer I dont be able to take dat folder name an link it to a property -.- Like Show 1 Like 1 Actions Deepak Gupta Maxime Klauth on Aug 17, 2016 12:36 AM Mark Correct Correct Answer Well you can not keep that property change dynamically as there is no way in drawings to pull folder name only. But y és you can dó this with á macro and cán have the propérty updated in thé drawing file propérties which can bé linked to thé title block. And further you can have the macro run every time you save the drawing either assigning it a keyboard shortcut (like setting it to Ctrl S which is shortcut for save, so macro can save and update property at same time) OR mouse gesture OR have it running in background. Like Show 1 Like 1 Actions Maxime Klauth Deepak Gupta on Aug 17, 2016 3:58 AM Mark Correct Correct Answer I triyed to do a second macro that copy the folder name, than open a note in solidworks and past the folder name in it, it works but it is not atomatic, the second macro everytime write the same even if I change plan-file-folder, the first macro you give me works perfect, every time I change the folder the macro write the new folder name in the immediate window, but Im not able to do something with this text.
